PROGRAMS OFFERED BY OUR SCHOOL

1. MIGHTY CUBS (3- 4 1/2 years old)

Martial arts is a perfect activity for kids and the best time for them to get started is in their early school years. Our Mighty Cubs program is a great choice for giving pre-school age children a fun start in the martial arts through play-based environment while improving their listening skills, motor skills, attention span, concentration and physical fitness. Our caring instructors will make them feel right at home.


2. DISCOVERY KIDS (6-12 years old)

This program is designed for kids to discover and develop their own potential. Kids who participate in our program develop coordination, balance and agility in a fun and safe environment but the mental benefits are much bigger. We teach the kids to believe in themselves.  Even the most timid little kid discover the power of focus and perseverance. Throughout the program, we emphasize how
self-discipline and perseverance lead to success in martial arts, at school and in life. As they progress through a series of belt promotions, they will realize that their confidence level increases.


3. TEENS TAEKWONDO (13-19 Years old)

Teen years is a very important period in the development of individual.  This is the stage of development where teens are self- conscious in their appearance and they tend to pretend as an adult in their decision making. Teens also want to be accepted by others and want to express their individuality in various ways. If things will not go their way, it can lead to depression and low self-esteem. We know they encounter inconsiderable peer-pressure so right from the beginning, our martial arts mindset reinforces character development and the importance of making good choices through the guidance of our highly trained instructors.


4. ACTIVE FOR LIFE (19 Years old and Above)

More than another time in history, martial arts training has become an outlet for people of all ages wanting to keep fit, get fit, lose weight, relieve stress and better their mind. This Active For Life adult program is a GREAT way to get back some “me” time and achieve health and self-protection goals. Our classes are taught in
a motivating and relaxed atmosphere, allowing you to train at your own pace.  Our instructors will help inspire and encourage you on your way to personal achievements.
Martial arts is fitness with a purpose. Adults who enrolled in martial arts get a great work-out and more. Learning effective and practical self-defense techniques is just the beginning. Adults will also develop a calm inner confidence like the benefits of yoga, pilates and aerobics in a fun environment. It just feels great to
let it all out and hit something to distress yourself from a tough day.  Going to martial arts classes also develops a mind set that gives you a competitive edge at work, in other sports and all aspects of life.


5. FAMILY CLASS

This is another program of bravehearts wherein parents and children train together and share in common the FAMILY TEAM SPIRIT. Parents and children will have quality time together as they train, hone their skills and enjoy themselves with our rewarding program designed with experts in the field of martial arts.
•    A child must at least be yellow belt before he/she can attend the family class.


6. OLYMPIC STYLE SPARRING

This program is for those interested in competitive taekwondo. This is solely focused on Olympic-style training classes and intended for those who are actively competing or plan to be actively competing at sport Taekwondo events. This program will prepare athletes for local, regional, national and international taekwondo competitions.


7. PRO-TAEKWONDO (Recreational Mixed Martial Arts)

This program is a mixture of hand, foot and grappling techniques which is similar to Mixed Martial Arts but catered more on recreation and fitness.  You will experience the philosophy of personal growth
in the mind, body and spirit, blended with motivation, enjoyment and personal satisfaction.
•      A student must have at least a background in other martial arts.


8. MASTERS' CLUB PROGRAM

This program is exclusively for black belts who want to continue their journey towards becoming a well-rounded martial artist. Hand strikes and ground skills including weaponry are integrated in the program while waiting for their rightful time to get their next Dan Promotion.  Students who are enrolled in this program are also given the opportunity to learn, develop and enhance their leadership skills and abilities as they learn to handle and teach students, attend trainings, seminars and community services.


9. WUSHU TAOLU

Wushu is a traditional Chinese Martial Arts which is both an exhibition and a full-contact sport. Wushu literally means "martial art". Taolu (Forms) involves martial art patterns and maneuvers that comprise basic movements (stances, kicks, punches, balances, jumps, sweeps and throws) based on aggregate categories done in artistic, fancy and acrobatic way. After several sessions, you will discover that your child will improve his/her flexibility in performing his/her first few moves and tricks.  Your son/daughter's attitude also changes.  There will be increase in your child's focus, listening skills, confidence and self-control.


10.    AIKIDO

Aikido is a Japanese art of self-defense that employs holds and locks and that uses the principles of nonresistance in order to debilitate the strength of the opponent. This martial art is performed by blending with the motion of the attacker and redirecting
the force of the attack rather than opposing it head-on. This martial art is good specially to females cause it requires very little physical strength and uses the momentum of the attacker against themselves. The techniques are completed with various throws or joint locks.


11.    BOXING

The act, activity, or sport of fighting with the fists, especially according to rules requiring the use of boxing gloves and limiting legal blows to those striking above the waist and on the front or sides of the opponent. This combat sport is very good to distress you from a hard days work as you tone your muscles and improve your cardiovascular endurance.
